I need to choose appliances for the new kitchen which should be installed in the Autumn. I have a Siemens fridgefreezer but need a dishwasher, double oven, gas hob. AEG look quite good but does anyone have any recommendations for any other makes or models? Are the prices you need to pay for Miele/Neff etc worthwhile?

Kitchen will be white gloss finish with dark wood worktops, if that helps.

Thanks!

We've had a Bosch dishwasher for about 15 years and still going strong. Our oven is AEG with pyrolitic cleaning (whack it high and it burns off the gunk to ash, still need to clean the racks/shelves separately) - I love it, we're having the kitchen re-done and are keeping that but getting a new (Bosch) dishwasher.

We had a Bosch washing machine and the powder drawer used to get disgusting, really manky - so did my friend's (Bosch said they'd never heard of this happening). We bought an AEG one 4 years ago and it is quieter and no problems with gunky drawers.

Never tried anything Neff, we have a little Miele built under fridge and it's OK but nothing special. (It's going but because it's too small not because anything wrong)

Can also recommend Bosch dishwasher, built in ones in 3 different houses over past 10 yrs and had a freestanding one before. We have just moved and AEG oven and combi microwave already there, impressed so far.
