Wickes Kitchen Units

We have gone for the equivalent of the Heritage Grey kitchen through Benchmarx (identical kitchen but cheaper - thanks Mumsnet for that!) and I was hoping to get the pan drawer that you pull out and it has an additional drawer within it for cutlery. Sadly Benchmarx/ Wickes don't do it and our kitchen planner has told us to go for two pan drawers (one on top of the other) with a slim cutlery drawer above. Not quite the space-saving device I was after.

Can anyone suggest any other drawers that they got from Wickes/ Benchmarx that are better-designed/ more space-saving?

I have the two pan drawers with the slimline cutlery drawer above. 900mm unit. Have the gas hob above it.

I find it works well.

Why isn't it space saving? Presumably you keep everything you would keep in your middle drawer with a three drawer unit, underneath the cutlery tray? Becuase that opens, seperately, no?

I thought the only real differences were a sleeker look perhaps and that you have to open up two drawers instead of one. But space wise, it's the same, no?

This is the sort of thing I was thinking of...

Pics on profile. Hopefully you can see the relevant drawers in the photos!
