You know, where you pay someone to find out about appropriate property coming on the market and snaffle it quick on your behalf? Like this

We're looking for the same thing as everyone else, it seems, and I wondered if these companies were worth the money if you want something in high demand...

We are looking at the moment and we have found RightMove is very up to date without having to pay anything and if you get on the Estate Agents books, they will alert you to any suitable properties before they put them on the market

Just as good imho..

Hmm, maybe I'll just go and chat up estate agents then

I e-mailed them, told them what we wanted and managed to see a house last week before it went on the market - vendor was so shocked at fast viewing he wasn't even in when we turned up (even though visit was booked) nor had he dropped the keys in...twat!

Be warned though, they will try to give you mortgage quotes etc but this isn't a bad thing as seeing one of their mortgage brokers can give you a very good idea of your budget and what rates are out there
