Mothercare Traffic Signal Curtains

Hi all

I am currently in the process of doing up my 3 year old DS bedroom & I have bought these Mothercare Traffic Signal Curtains ,which I am going to get lined, & also matching bedding & cushions. I am struggling with paint colours. Initially I thought a matching green to what is in the stripe but then I thought it would look too much & decided to go with a light blue. I've tried a few testers & the favourite at the moment is Crown's Whisper of Powder Blue (8th along the top row) & I am wondering whether to:

  1. paint the walls blue & also the 2 sets of fitted double wardrobes (that run along one wall) the same blue?

OR

  1. paint the walls blue & the wardrobes white (to match the rest of the woodwork)?

OR

  1. paint the walls white & the wardrobes blue? OR

  2. paint both the walls & wardrobes white?

If you are still with me...well done

Do any of you have any thoughts on the above? It is driving me nuts

Thanks for any help you can throw my way

I think I would do 2, second choice 4.
Like the curtains!

Thank you! I think I agree as there is also a lot of colour going on with the curtains/bedding etc so white wardrobes woul dbe a better balance

I have another quesiton re the new baby room so will post a new thread.

Thanks ladies
