Tell me all about your wall hung basin please

Does it make the room feel big? Does it look lovely? Not falling off the wall is it?

We had one before we moved house, and yes it definitely made the bathroom feel bigger. Also its easier to keep the floor clean as you don't have to clean round the pedestal. I loved it. And no, it never fell off the wall.

We had a small wall hung basin in the cloakroom and a ds with severe ASD and Learning Difficulties - it was not a good combination. We changed it for a basin in a unit. Before ds the wall mounted sink was great. I do live in a 1990's house with plasterboard walls which probably didn't help.

I always use these when I do bathrooms they look great and get decent fixings and a really nice chrome trap

Yes don't leave it to your plumber who will put in a plastic P trap if not instructed otherwise.

Crosswater do great bottle traps recommended to me as being the best for not leaking.

I think they look good but the million dollar question is whether the wall can take it.

Yes, nice trpas those, greenlotus. Anyone want to reccommend a basin? Feel like I've seen a ton but am not decided. Contempory, not too square, not TOO chunky, enough room for toothbrushes etc....

It is wall hung about a foot off the floor the semi pedestal covers all the plumbing which means cheap trap etc is ok.I had 2 of these in my old house v nice and really shiny
