Did you/would you buy your joiner/tradesman a present?

Our joiner has been with us two weeks now and although running a little behind schedule he has done a fantastic job on everything so far, has put up with my neurotic and frequent phoncealls 'checking everything is ok' and also put up with me changing my mind a few times from the original plan.

The work will come to £2200 which we are happy to pay for the amount we have had done.

Would you buy him a present as well, and if so, what?

Thanks

I gave the guy who fitted our bathroom £50 to buy a drink.

Thats some drink Scurry!

Yes could give him cash I guess...I suppose he would prefer that...just wanted something a bit more personal as hes such a nice man.[saddo]

small box of chocs and cash?

Write a nice message in a card about his work and slip in some cash....he might like the comments for future recommendations.

A card is a good idea- and yes I think bottle wine/chocs plus cash.

Thanks everyone!
