Football themed boys bedroom

DS1 (6) would like a football themed bedroom! Has anyone seen any good football themed products - lights, bedding, other stuff or does anyone have any good ideas for making them! All suggestions gratefully received. I'm personally all for a life size cut out of Fernando Torres.

I did a football bedroom for my DS a few years ago. He's now 14, but still wants it to stay the same.

The one thing I did that I was most proud of, was the lightshade. I bought a large round, white paper lantern type thingy, then glued hexagonal black shapes onto it, to look like a football. Still looking good today! (and a very cheap option.)
I also got a lot of sticky footballs and have them "bouncing" around the room instead of a boarder.

If you have built-in cupboards, paint them in team colours (home and away strips if you like) then stick on vinyl letters & numbers (eg wheelie bin stickers from ebay) to look like the backs of favourite players' shirts.

One of mine has an England bedroom, the other an Arsenal one. duvet cover, curtains, lampshades, a couple of framed posters, and the football stickers. I have left the walls plain white (with fingermarks of course!)

If he is in a club or goes to football holidays clubs there are the medals and trophys to display and that looks grand.

oh bless his little cottons, mine are football crazy, wait til you have to spend every weekend in the rain on the touchline!

I saw a fab idea in a book once, theming the room like a changing room. It had pine cladding on the bottom half of the wall painted white, the top half was red (don't know if this was just one wall), there was a white hanging rail/knobs with the childs football kit hanging on there so it looked like a changing room.

I'm sure I have seen a football beanbag chair somewhere once.

And I've definitely seen green rugs with football pitch markings.

Can't be sure where these ideas were as never needed them - I have 3 dance-mad girls!

Tis done! I used the sticker football idea, the vinyl letters/numbers and the changing room theme. Found co-ordinated football bedding, lights, storage boxes. And an England beanbag from Tesco's for £6.25. Looks great - DS loves it. Thanks all for the fab ideas.
