Sun Holidays - confused!

We booked a sun holiday for 5.

Thats £47.50.

The actuall total came to £75, they added something on to do with the park, I can't remember what.

So now I've just opened my letter from Haven which says

accomodation - £75

but then:

entertainment and passess, £25.50
powercharge £26

and linen £14

and asking for £65.50!

I thought it was just the money we paid to the sun?

How does a 9.50 holiday for 5 turn into a 3140 holiday??

Thats why i never collect the tokens anymore as it usually works out cheaper to book a caravan through haven etc as the price includes the electric and passes, it's bit of a con really.

dis, have you booked a week that is actually £15 per person? some weeks are and others are £9.50. It does say so if you read the blurb. Also IME most of the parks charge extra for the passes etc.

You can knock off the linen charge, just ring and say you don't want it, then remember to take your own.

Sorry you didn't realised it'd cost more than £9.50 each

Yeah, i assumed the extra £30 we paid at booking was for the passes and didn't realise about linen and power,

oops!

i had the same last year, linen can be knocked off but power and passes are obligatory - it annoyed me also as turned out not to be as good as cracked up to be. I paid the price and we went and it was a holiday from hell.

We've saved about £75 booking it through the Sun. And it's a July date.
