I wasn't sent it - I saw it on hot uk deals. I was sent the code for the Christmas blanket but never used it. The code was apparently sent to those who didn't receive their free blanket.
I was fully expecting to have my order cancelled after reading this thread, so was surprised when it arrived earlier today.

I ordered a swimsuit and had order accepted but they phoned on friday and left message on answerphone to say not sending it

SomeWhereOverTheRainbow4 · 23/01/2010 18:46

I placed the order on Tuesday and it was accepted, came out as £0.00 including delivery but I haven't had a call. Perhaps as I was a new customer they'll honour it? xxx

eandh · 23/01/2010 19:00

I was a new customer too

Hulababy · 24/01/2010 10:13

I am awaiting them calling now. I did get sent a code for 20% off, free delivery and a free duvet cover but the cover was unsuitable for my dd, so didn't use it.

I have ordered a skirt and top which came to 11 after the discount applied, but I guess that isn't going to come now.

cyanarasamba · 24/01/2010 10:26

It's now saying only available to existing customers - so not me!

Disenchanted3 · 25/01/2010 08:51

Well I just got 2 emails, one to say an item was out of stock.

And another to say a few items are being despatched!

Hulababy · 25/01/2010 09:10

I have had an email saying my order is ready for dispatch and to expect it in 5-10 days.

I was an existing customer, and did pay £11 after the discount was applied. Wonder if this makes a difference?

Disenchanted3 · 25/01/2010 09:11

i think my order i tried at £0 was cancelled.

LoveBeingAMummy · 25/01/2010 14:43

I ahve recieved a letter saying i tried to order a catalogue and could i ensure i use my existing ref no. in future????

Have received one that I did and had sent to my paretns house (the only one i had to apy anything towards), but the one i did under my dh's name not had anything yet.

wellbalanced · 26/01/2010 15:58

LoveBeingAMummy · 27/01/2010 22:14

The only one of mine that has ceom is the one i had to pay some towards.

Hulababy · 27/01/2010 22:20

Order arrived today and paperwork definitely discounted by the £12.

Disenchanted3 · 29/01/2010 09:00

I got my orders few days ago, £1 & £2 invoices.

llandb · 18/02/2010 16:50

Tried the code, got the free postage but not the discount, no phone call yet.

But they emailed to say that one of the items I'd ordered was out of stock.

This is the third time I've tried to order that exact hard-to-find item (they keep changing their mind about whether they have it) and every time, they've emailed and said 'oh we don't have that but will send the rest of your order'.

Considering that the htf item (now found elsewhere but paid a small fortune for postage as 'elsewhere' is DPAM) is the principal reason for placing the order, and I don't necessarily want to pay p&p for any other items that I wouldn't have ordered if I hadn't been buying the htf item anyway, I'm a bit cheesed off that they keep saying it's in stock when clearly their stock control is poor enough that people can keep ordering it online when they don't have it.

It's almost as though they're trying to lure me into placing an order with them on the strength of the non-existent htf item!

I tried phoning their customer service last time to ask for either a subsitution (same but other gender) or a cancellation of the whole order. They claimed it was impossible to amend or cancel, suggested I place a whole new order in excess of 70 quid (when I just wanted a 10 quid item) in order to benefit from free P&P, and then tried to garner marketing info from me.

I was not best pleased, (unfortunately too gobsmacked to ask to speak to supervisor), and vowed never to buy from them again (unless the item was back in stock and I got free P&P).

So now that they have cancelled hard-to-find item again, if they don't honour the voucher (maybe fair enough) and try to charge me postage for the remainder of the order or threaten to cancel it, the manager of the person on the phone will be spoken to severely about trading standards
