RAILCARD - any codes out there before I renew at full price??

Hi My Family & Friends Railcard is up for renewal this month (got it last year using a code which I think came from the Daily Mail). I'm going to lurk for a while before I get it, but really don't want to pay full price (plus if I do, I bet a code appears the following day!)
Are there any codes out there for money off?? I'll just do it as a new application rather than renewal if needs be...

Thanks in advance x

I got one of those free railcards through DM this year. In the letter it says 50% of you renew between 24th July & 21 August enter the promo code DAILYM09 www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk HTH

LadyRaRa · 06/07/2009 13:31

I used mine too

Hi I'll try that code after 24/7 then (doesn't expire till 16th anyway) Many thanks x

Any others out there though, just in case it doesn't work for me in case its only just for people who had the free ones??

flippyflop I have one of the free ones, which I didn't realise is no use to me as kids are under 5, I can send it to you if you like, seems a shame to waste it...then you'd definitely get the discount too.

I just did this today, and it let me renew at the reduced price.

ooh ours must be almost due for renewal (got it roughly this time last year on the half price offer) - not had anything sent through to remind me though , so do we just use the code below ?

Dunno if this is relevant to anyone here but 16-25 railcards are 10% off (until Dec I think - use code Save10) & include a free annual YHA membership (worth £9.99 they say)

(I went hopefully looking for bargainous 50% offs, after reading this thread but no luck)

BreevandercampLGJ · 24/07/2009 13:32

That was quick, mine arrived today.

With the railcard you can use the 2 for 1 website

smultronstallet - you can still use your railcard even if your child is under 5 - and counterintuitively, it's cheaper for you to use it with a child fare than not to - I paid something like £94 for me and my 3 yo ds when it would have been £108 just for me without the railcard. It's definitely worth doing!
