It doesn't seem to work today, or maybe its just next sale it doesn't work on. tomskigirl you put code in when you log on, there is an option for promotional code.

when do you think they will realise that if they just do free delivery (like some supermarkets do, eg waitrose) then people just order? I have about £100 worth of pjs I was going to order and will not now.
I hate Next quite a bit, their customer care is pants, and why do I have to pay £4 for their catalogue when I don't want it?
Sorry for the rant and of no use to anyone!!

I opted out of getting the directory too but this morning I have had a letter saying one is winging it's way to me Angry NEXT seem very dated in their way of running their online store/accounts compared to other companies. It's crap!

This may not be a new thing but i have never experienced this before so wanted to share. After ordering some suits last week (had to order quite a few as so many different cuts sizes) anyway returned on tues, however statement was generated Tues with all suits on, apparently they have changed the t and c's. Anyway we now have a min payment of £70 this month instead of £15 as expected.

Getting really annoyed with next now and probably going to cancel our account! i cant see how they can do this when you should have them on approval, confused!

Does anyone know how to opt out of the catalogue once you have an account? I know I was asked when I opened it a long time ago but when I looked the other day I couldn't see how to refuse it.

I didnt mind when they sent two a year but now they thrw in a Christmas and Summer one, with much the same stuff in, I'm fed up with it.

caughtupintheratrace I also noticed that they have started charging for returns if the whole order is returned. They also no longer give the '2 weeks approval', items are charged to your account the minute they are sent out so you don't get the same amount of payment grace that you used to. It has also made it difficult to keep an eye on refunds for returns because you are often charged for an item before they have refunded it so that makes the monthly payment higher. (Hope that makes sense??)

latrucha I have emailed the customer service this afternoon and demanded asked for my name to be removed from the directory list. They have replied ever so quickly and assured me that my name has been taken off and I will no longer receive it.

I am seriously thinking about cancelling my account too, although it does come in handy when I'm short of money and need an outfit, or I need something for the next day. I also like to order different sizes because their sizing isn't consistent. I am NOT paying for delivery though, I absolutely am NOT!

I have account in next. They sent me directory and charged me 3,99 for it. I wrote them email that I don't want to pay for because I didn't ask them to send it. They answered
"Dear Mrs
Thank you for taking the time to e-mail us.
I am sorry that you have received the Next Directory 2011
I can confirm that the charge for the Brochure has now been deducted and all future directories cancelled. Please feel free to keep the Next Directory 2011 book with our compliments.

yes, they removed charge, but next day it has appeared again!
I wrote them once again.
They answered
"Dear xxx
Thank you for taking the time to e-mail us.
I am sorry the charge for the directory has appeared on your account. I have refunded this charge to you and is no longer on your account."
Yes, they removed it again.
But next time they sent directory for my sisters account!
She did the same. So they can remove the charge if you ask!
Another question is - Why should we waste our time emailing them????

Yenifer I totally agree. The Directory should be only sent by request, not as standard, we should not have to opt out of having it. The directory is free if you place an order but you are charged for delivery so, in effect you are paying for the directory. NEXT need to pull their socks up. Quality of clothes is crap these days too. Expensive crap!
