Has anyone got any codes for Tesco Direct, please? (grovel) I'm spending a fortune and can't find even a fiver off. OK, yes, free delivery, but I want more. MORE!!

Haven't used myself as I've been sent £10 off Ocado this week PLUS a free bottle of wine!

I used Sainsburys this week, free delivery over £100 on selected days, I put on some extra washing powder to bump it up.

I am so fed up with Tesco's, last week I had to throw out 7 bananas the day after delivery as they were all brown, went ot use some sweet potatoes a few days later and one was mouldy and had leaked all through the bag (yuck) and the beef casserole was UB the day after delivery and looked a bit whiffy. I have foudnt hat a lot recently fresh foods very close to UB dates.

If you get stuff near to date like that again go into store with it and complain. I got fed up with returning things - I never buy fruit now, and only spuds. I once returned 8 items from one shop - including a leek they charged 70p for that looked like an overgrown spring onion!

Anything that goes off before use by make sure you get in there and return it. I got a refund and then a voucher in the post. Only with things that are obviously spoilt though. Otherwise I have only ever got a refund.

I'm getting fed up sending them e-mails complaining (stores too far out my way to go in and complain in person), they do refund the items though.

aha i found one to get free delivery- either add a sim card or a video game to your order and you get free premium delivery, unless you're ordering a bulky item like i did, then its standard delivery. You can either get something for an upcoming birthday or return it to your local tesco.

Anyway, i ordered a ds French thing for £1, which is also on BOGOF and it took the delivery off at the end. Free delivery and 2 DS games for £1...woohoo!

Nickschick-it was French Coach, but it seems they are out of stock now as my friend tried to do it. Still, i think there is a sim card for £2.75ish, so its still chesper than delivery!

I just used XX-DELV for free delivery (it showed up as £6.25 at the checkout although my delivery charge was only £5.50).

I hope this helps someone.
