WARNING - Had a phone call a couple of weeks ago saying they were from Bounty and I could receive a free Photo of my DD ( 18MTHS) with a photographer coming to the house. I was in a rush thought Bounty was credible, the lady on the phone seemed nice and gave my address ( stupid). Booked it for today. Yesterday DD sick so rung bounty to cancel .. they know nothing about it and never allow photographers to go to houses. Fortunately they haven't turned up today and have just rung police to let them know, but now feel vulnerable at home with baby today and cross with myself for booking it. Just wanted to let everyone know in case they get a similar a phone call.

When you had your Bounty bag they probably askjed for your tel no - I think they sell this data on to other compnaies so indirectly they were probably from Bounty.

We've just had similar but the company sent us all the info after phoning to ask if they could send out literature. It's a reputable company in the area that I know several friends have used. Probably Bounty have various contacts in each local area & just pass on your details without keeping tabs, it's unlikely a random person phones lots of people on the offchance they've had a baby.
Did you not get a company name or telephone number that you can check, even on t'internet?
You can just ignore the door if someone legit does come & if they contact you apologise & say you had an emergency.
