So far my switching process has been smooth so I hope it is for you too. Octopus even managed to give clear instructions on how to read my mystical meters which appeared to have no working LCD display when I last looked and gave up.

I was planning to switch to Octopus the other day, then heard my company Avro had gone bust, so couldn't switch as have big credit balance with Avro and been advised to sit tight

@Joystir59 I really feel for you. It must be unnerving. I'm sure you'll get your money back as it must be protected I'd have thought but no doubt it'll take ages to play out.

So many people are in this position. I feel really fortunate that I asked for a refund of my credit a few months ago because I was hard up and needed every penny at the time.

I have the same issue @Joystir59 - I'm with Green who have over £700 of my money sitting there!

You think when you switch to a new deal that the all of the energy companies available to choose from are at least scent and viable.
