There was a thread the other day about this company using mumsnet to advertise them . Making new accounts just to ask for code and name dropping a few sofas along the way ....

This thread reminded me of that one coz it’s going the same way . I would be careful to look at proper reviews of these sofas before buying not just coz it seems like lots of people on mumsnet are buying them at the same time !

Yes in fact my experience is contrary to this that I have very genuinely recommend their products and engaged in their refer a friend process but as highlighted above, they will cancel any rewards and even seemingly blacklist you from being able to offer a code if you are seen to have posted a referral on a forum like this, despite some of the referrals also having been made elsewhere. I genuinely love our sofa but my view of them as a company has changed for the worse and I will no longer look to buy our second sofa from them ok the basis of this.

In fact they may be fake accounts even looking to tempt you in to share a referral code with someone so they then have reason to reject you on their system and save money 🤷‍♀️

There was a thread removed a few days ago where the company concerned were trying to get people to buy their product with effusive recommendations from Mumsnet posters. I suspect it is quite a common phenomenon.
