There really should be a double negative rating for Stoves UK. The induction hob of my Sterling1000EI cooker stopped working in November after only 18 months. I contacted Stoves customer service to arrange repair - really the most unresponsive and disorganised customer care team I have ever come across. 5 weeks without a cooker, 4 engineer visits, 3 faulty induction hobs, damage to my wood floor and worktops and an erroneously cancelled warranty policy later they finally arranged for a a like-for-like replacement cooker to be fitted yesterday. Unbelievably the cooker that was sent turned out to be smaller than their specification and leaves an unsightly1.5cm gap in my beautiful new fitted kitchen, which is designed for the 100x60cm Sterling1000EI cooker. Now Stoves tell me they must review their manufacturing tolerances and are trying to make this cooker somehow fit the space. So much for supporting British manufacturing... You can only imagine the stress in the lead up to Xmas but I am deter mined to get the right size cooker as specified and paid for.
