you can get through to this via freefivers - just register and you get the vouchers (and some pennies in your freefivers account too

I don't believe that is a genuine Tescos site at all.

The logo is black not coloured
There is no mention of it on the main Tescos site
It doesn't have a valid security certificate
The tesco.com link in the top right corner would surely be a logo rather than plain text.

NeverTickleASleepingSoupDragon · 21/07/2007 19:10

If it is genuine,it's incredibly shoddy for a major company's website.

Thomasina · 21/07/2007 19:13

But why would it be a pretend site?

to get your details

Yeah....coupons totalling the value of £26 against nominated spend in single transactions on any clothing (one coupon valued at £4 off when you spend £20 or more, two coupons valued at £6 off when you spend £30 or more, and one coupon valued at £10 when you spend £50 or more).

Not worth handing over your address imho, you'll get LOADS of junk mail, and not just from tesco.

By the way folks, did you know that use can use a site called mailinator to sign up for things so your regular email doesn't get clogged with stupid offers and spam?

Basically just choose an email address off the top of your head like [email protected] when you're signing up for things, then go to mailinator.com and log in as mybigfatbum, and your registration email will be there, with none of the spam! Lovely.

DiagonAllieBongo · 21/07/2007 19:47

it is a real site. if you go into tesco.com you can reach the same page from there direct

Thomasina · 21/07/2007 19:48

like the tip about the anti-spam address

sorry, should add - thanks, BB!

going to get one and sign up for EVERYTHING, a friend of mine does loads of sign-ups and gets so many free things!

No probs! not all sites will let you use mailinator but most do. If not, keep a "spare" hotmail account for signing up for things, and watch the spam mount up!

thanks for that reassurance alliebongo. For anyone who wants to see the click, go to tesco.com, click on sitemap in the grey bar at bottom of page, and you will see clothing in store under the customer info heading. Agree it does look less professional than the rest of the site.

Antonia3 · 23/07/2007 09:54

my dh checked this out - he got to the site via the Tesco main site, so think is ok
