The mega house-sized hamper is sold out, (probably for the best Xmas Grin) but all the others now half price. If you add VC4D you get a further 10% at checkout and via Quidco gives 8% cashback.

I've had an odd email this morning saying "is there something we can help you with?" and telling me that I have stuff in my "basket". But I also have both emails telling me my hampers have been sent.I seem to remember they are a bit rubbish with delivery and stuff.

OK, got it now, finally. But, as some of you found, completely broken Santa although reindeer is fine, and a very bashed box of fudge. Did you get replacements or put it down to experience?

The broken stuff happened this year and last - last year I got replacements (arrived after Christmas) this year I emailed and no teponse so I rang this morning, they are sendin replacements - I asked if they didn't have something I'm stock could they send an equivalent and they were happy to do that.

I also asked for a replacement box as i like to use them for storage.

Thanks for the heads up, I appear to have purchased 2 Festive Delights hampers with a view to giving some items as stocking filler gifts and eating sharing the rest over Christmas! With the discount code on top of the half price offer, I splashed out on names day delivery - last of the big spenders!

I ordered hampers from them last year and everything arrived without damage. Am hopeful these ones are the same, but will be sure to check as soon as they arrive given your experiences.

The XMQU code worked for me.

I have just received a despatch email, was a little confused at first but it says the 3 items I complained about have been sent so presumably this is in response to my 3 emails. They haven't replied to them though but the goods will suffice I suppose Xmas Smile

I bought two last year - one didn't turn up - I emailed, I called, they didn't get back to me when they said they would, so I eventually let it go.

The box I did have was awful which is why I will never buy Thorntons now - they had replaced ingredients with soya to make it cheaper. Everything I tried tasted disgusting.

so an update on my damaged items...

I ended up emailing 3 times, I have now received 2 replacement sets and have just received a despatch note for yet another!! Xmas Confused

I might try that Wink I did end up ordering, the moulded chocolate (Santa, snowman, reindeer) was all mashed on arrival. I emailed (once) and have had a response saying they will replace.

I didn't mean to get 3 but gave them 24 hours and emailed again! I didn't get a reply until after the despatch note Xmas Confused and the last email I sent was wed and got the last despatch note Saturday so I think they do respond but they must have a lot of emails to answer? You would think they'd match up the names/order numbers though? and in the 2nd and 3rd emails I did say that I had emailed before. Very odd!

Xmas Grin I do that, I get someone to read my emails to make sure i'm not too grumpy in them! I now try to stick to facts, but that sometimes comes across as rude!

Does anyone else thing there's no way those santas got damaged in the box? I think they must get put in broken.

Oh an FYI the 2nd replacement santa I got was a snowman because they were out of santas!

It did seem a bit weird, none of the other boxes were damaged at all. Perhaps they are counting on people thinking "all tastes the same going down" and ignoring?

They must know people might want to give them away though. I'm a fat pig but even I couldn't get through that whole hamper. It is odd that the reindeer was fine but the Santa pulverised. And my box of fudge...

I asked for two replacements and was given 3 - although I think they might be smaller? But best of all they were dark rather than white chocolate Grin
