I've seen threads on this in the past - where can I get swapsies?
My DH (and yes, that's right, DH, who should know better, not DC!) is trying to get a set.

OP posts:
SummerRain · 20/05/2011 20:18

Barnacles... how odd, I have loads of doubles but they're all the same!

My g is a glow in the dark glow worm though and my i's are igloos!

There are shiny ones too... we have a shiny m (magnet)

Princess of Wails, I have and i, s and u you can have. I'll PM you.... look for a red dot on the envelope sign at the top of the page ^

TheHamish... I'm missing p but don't have the ones you need, sorry

bluebump · 20/05/2011 20:25

We haven't got any doubles yet but i'm marking my place on here just incase...

Supurrb · 21/05/2011 20:06

We have lots of swaps-
1 C (shiny)
2 E
3 I
1 J
2 L
2 N
1 P
1 S
1 T
1 U
1 X
3 Y

We need A G K and O to complete our set! Anyone want to swap let me know!

Barnacles · 26/05/2011 22:42

Damn you, innocent smoothies!!
Now I see that there is a third set. I did a count up and i now need 31 letters to get the whole set sigh

If anyone wants them, I can send you. I don't need to swap. May need to build up a positive balance of karma if we are to complete our sets ;-)
e (earth)
l (leek)
n (necklace)
o (orange)
q (question)
r (ruler)
t (telephone)
y (yellow)

To complete sets 1 and 2 I need:
c (not crayon)
j (not jockey)
k
m (not moose)
p
q (not question)
v (not volcano)
w (not web)
x (not the treasure map)
z (not zebra)

My third set is way short. I'll wait until I get a bit closer until going into that one.

I had a look up the thread and didn't see anyone a P or K who needed the letters I have got.

SummerRain · 27/05/2011 09:55

barnacles.... the set advertised on tv atm is the set i've been getting! they seem to match one of your sets though (leek, question mark, treasure map, etc) For others I have differant though; nurse, egg, read. m and v in my set are shiny/glow in the dark and are magnet and vampire.

anywho, I'm not pushed about sets, I just want a full alphabet!

I need o and t but my spare j, q and x are ones you have.

PrincessOfWails · 28/05/2011 18:18

Hi there! Someone sent me some letters - someone from Ireland - but I couldn't work out who! Many thanks anyhow!

I'm getting a bit confused now that there are 3 sets. I thought there was just the one - shown here. I've not bought any other than the ones there.

I'm now missing a, c, k, m, o and g (but the glow worm one).
Funny how some of them seem rarer than others.

I have doubles of u, s and i now as well, due to a Sainsbury's delivery. DH did try to ask them to look for specifics but for some reason they weren't going to do that. Wink

OP posts:
SummerRain · 28/05/2011 18:33

That was me PoW, should have put my MN name but assumed you'd guess from the PM Grin

Hope they helped!

TheHamish · 30/05/2011 20:44

I now only need a K. I don't know of anybody who actually has a K, DP is being very cynical and says they are obviously holding back some letters so we keep buying smoothies...

PrincessOfWails · 30/05/2011 22:50

DH picked up a K this evening. Sainsburys. He spent around 5min at the smoothie stand (!) and claims that the packaging was broken during transit not in an attempt to see the letters...

We're down to c, m, o and g now.

But we have a spare v, p, s and z, and others too but the v seems a bit rare!

OP posts:
PrincessOfWails · 30/05/2011 22:54

Superrb - I'm after your c, but I haven't got any doubles of the ones you need: and we're after the same ones, o and g.

I wonder if these smoothies freeze?

OP posts:
DeepPurple · 30/05/2011 23:11

SummerRain - I have a spare "O" that you are welcome to. I don't need any in exchange, I'll be happy to send it to you. Just PM me your address.

SummerRain · 31/05/2011 10:06

PoW... they're not selling the boxes with the magnets over here any more but when I was in Tesco last week they had some smoothie tube packets with magnets left so i spent about 20 minutes trying to move the tubes through the gap with my finger to see what magnets were there.... could only see one in each pack though so had to pick 2 at random anyway Sad

I was just waiting for a security guard to appear at my shoulder and escort me out of the shop and even my 6 year old looked embarrassed for me Grin

PrincessOfWails · 31/05/2011 14:47

SummerRain where are you? I hope the promotion isn't coming to an end!
I got a box of those tube things too but DS won't eat them Hmm - but it is almost impossible to see in!

I'm currently in London, so regular stock. When we were children - in Wales - my brother and sister and I would always buy chocolate with the chance to win something, or try to collect stuff you used to get for free with cereal (hm, do they do that any more?) and would never win/never get the 'set'. My mum used to say it's only people in London who manage to win/get the set! Grin

So here's hoping!

OP posts:
Barnacles · 01/06/2011 07:15

Summer Rain - I've got an envelope here with your address on and t (telephone) and o (orange) inside. I'll stick it in the post next time I am passing the post office.

Barnacles · 01/06/2011 07:20

Last time I was at Asda (or maybe it was Tesco) the Innocent Smoothies were packed in cardboard sleeves instead of boxes. You could very easily peek inside and pick the letters you wanted. I didn't have a list with me so I just had to remember which ones I needed.

Now DD has a fridge full of fruit juice (whoever came up with this as a marketing gimmick was right on the money) and I can't justify buying any more.

I had a look on ebay for spare letters but it seems a bit commercial. You can buy a complete set for £40!!!

TheHamish · 01/06/2011 12:52

I was bidding on ebay for a set of 12 letters so I could get my K - I was outbid and they eventually went for £10.50. For 12 bloody free magnets! That's it, if I don't get a K soon I'm selling off the lot.

Waitrose were selling boxed smoothies with no magnets yesterday so I think we're coming to the end of the promotion. I am never, ever getting involved again, I had no idea I was so obsessive compulsive.

SummerRain · 01/06/2011 16:40

thanks barnacles Smile

PrincessOfWails · 05/06/2011 11:01

I'm still getting them! Got a shiny C yesterday.

I have duplicates as well: shiny f, anyone?

Still needing g, m, o and w though.

OP posts:
SummerRain · 05/06/2011 11:24

PoW... I'll take the shiny f if you don't mind.

I'm only missing four now thanks to all this swapping (I bought 4 packets of smoothie tubes yesterday and got squat!)

PrincessOfWails · 06/06/2011 14:05

OK, can you PM me and I'll stick it in the post.
Only four here as well!

I did call Inoccent the other day to ask if they could fill the gaps but they weren't helpful or willing. She said 'keep buying the smoothies'. Hmm Annoyed really because they're supposed to be a caring kind of company...

Anybody need the following: I have duplicates of all of these.
E, Q, D, P, V, J, U, N, R, S, L, Z and I.
My spare shiny f has been claimed!

OP posts:
PrincessOfWails · 06/06/2011 14:15

Ohhhh, I get it.
Been looking on e-bay, and there's loads - but not many of the four I need.
BUT... G, O and W are glow in the dark, and M is shiny.
Some of the e-bay folks are claiming that they're 'limited edition' so fewer of them around. And there's someone selling a single 'w' for £9.99. Shock

OP posts:
DeepPurple · 06/06/2011 23:00

PrincessOfWails - I have a spare g. If you want it PM me your address and I'll pop it in the post to you Smile

PrincessOfWails · 07/06/2011 15:56

Well, a successful trip to Tesco - I spent ages going through their stock. Blush The promotion is coming to an end, so it's now or never! Plus, the fancy letters are in the middle. (I am such a smoothie magnet nerd now!)

I got me an O, W and a G - but no M! Anybody got an M?

I've got new spares as well - H and Y.

OP posts:
RunningOutOfIdeas · 10/06/2011 16:23

Does anyone have f, k, o, r, w or x to swap?

I have spares of a, b, i, n, p, q, s, t

SummerRain · 10/06/2011 16:28

I have an X and R you can have Running.

PM me your address
