I wouldn't go off someone elses quote/renewal becuase what is cheaper for one person could work out to be expensive for you.

All insurance companies are on comparison websites (go compare/money supermarket etc) arapt from 2... direct line and.. can't remember the other but someone may be along who does.

so, go to a comparison website and then the other 2 mentioned above and go from there.

My advice about the comparision websites, the 1st on the comparison list may be the cheapest but may not offer everything you want and to offer it may cost more...so find one off that list that gives you what you want insurance wise. By that I mean, the correct xs, legal cover or not, courtesty car or not etc.

I have gone with 2 insurance companies for the last 2 years. I couldn;t remember their names but at the end of the day they are usually underwritten by one of the bigger insurance companies sure as axa etc.

Good luck, its not as bad as you think.Smile. BUT its worth looking, I saved about £700 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

btw, ime I have found direct line to be stupid money. My dh had then about 3 years ago and competive rates BUT for me each time I check they are way way to high.

The other one that's not on the price comparison site is Aviva. Direct Line is always too expensive IME.

Am currently with Green which is a broker- RSA is the actual insurer. I got the quote through one of the comparison sites. Have a look on the Moneysavingexpert site.
