Experiences of 7+ preparation for King’s or Westminster private schools

Hi, has anyone who went through 7+ preparation for King’s or Westminster mind sharing what level your child was at the start of Year 1, particularly in reading, writing and maths?
Also, how much did you find tutoring helped? I’m wondering whether it makes sense to start the 7+ preparation process at all, and what difference tutoring actually made.
Thanks!

@javaprogrammer I'm not sure what you mean. This blatant advert is nothing to do with me! lol

Hi
If you need any advice, contact me. I came across your post because I’ve recently been looking to take on a few additional 11+ students alongside my current tutoring work.
I’m a qualified primary school teacher with QTS and an experienced private tutor, and I’m currently working one-to-one with a child preparing for competitive independent school entry, including Westminster and Godolphin & Latymer.
I support children with English, maths, verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, comprehension, creative writing and exam technique, and I’m happy to work either in person in SW London or online.
If you’re still looking, I’d be very happy to chat privately about what you’re hoping for, my availability and rates. I am based in Surbiton and can travel SW areas.
