Has anyone heard why the QED takeover of Wycliffe and Warminster collapsed?

Has anyone heard anything about the collapse of the QED group’s proposed takeover of Wycliffe and Warminster school? It did all sound a bit smoke and mirrors at the time.

It seems that the schools have decided to keep looking for organisations or partners to join up with. Maybe they felt QED wasn't the right fit for them.

I wondered about that! I follow a lot of private ed people/companies on LinkedIn and QED were everywhere last year. Now they’ve gone very quiet and no mention of any schools?

It’s weird how they’ve managed to keep it quite - announced with lots of publicity as if it was a done deal to ‘save’ the school and now quietly scratched it. I guess we’d didn’t actually have the money and it was a ‘fake it till you make it’ situation.
