Bishopsgate and Feltonfleet - Experiences of private schools supporting emotional or behavioural needs in early years

Hi everyone,
We're considering moving out of London and are looking at both Bishopsgate School and Feltonfleet School for our children or any other private school. I'd really appreciate hearing from parents with first-hand experience of either school.

One of our sons is very bright but also quite sensitive and can become overwhelmed if adults are very direct or strict. He responds much better to calm, gentle explanations and teachers who take the time to understand what's behind his behaviour rather than simply telling him off.

We're looking for a nurturing school with kind, emotionally aware teachers who are willing to work closely with parents and see each child as an individual.
I'd love to hear about your experiences, particularly how well the schools support children with emotional or behavioural needs. Our children will be starting Year 1 and Reception this September, so we'd especially appreciate any insights from parents with children in those year groups.

Thank you so much for any advice or experiences you can share.

I don’t know these schools but would suggest adding St Christopher in Hertfordshire to your list. I have just sent you a pm.
