Recommendations for the best education consultants in SW London 7+ 11+

Seeking recommendations for education consultants who can steer our Year 1 son and Year 5 daughter through the 7+ and 11+ (especially interviews). Personal experiences of the provider would we preferred, or at the very least sensible suggestions equally welcome. Thanks!

I don’t know about recommending an education consultant but when I was preparing for the 11+ interviews I asked on here and the book ‘School Interview Practice’ was recommended. It was really useful and I’d recommend it to you too! It was also suggested that we arrange a one off session with a tutor to conduct a mock interview and that was really good too - my son was well prepared after using the book but the real life mock interview was like a trial run and made him feel more confident.

Our school friends been using U2 Tuition for 7+.

We never used a consultant so can't help there, but one thing that made a real difference for interview prep was just chatting to my kids about random topics at dinner and getting them to explain their thinking out loud, rather than drilling answers. Interviewers tend to want to see how a child thinks, not just what they know. Good luck with the search, sounds like you're being really thoughtful about it.

@BeSereneRubyShark 100%, outside of academics, it is all about the quality time with the kid, talking and pondering about things together, asking questions and finding answers, reading about random things, and contemplating on the future together.
