Considering for son next year. We woukd be moving home too. I have heard it is very pushy? He already left a private school after 1 year due to that. He is very able, sensitive, chilled and loves being sociable.

Any reviews greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I work at Lancing College, and I would say we have the right balance of pressure to achieve.

My best advice would be to go and visit some schools, you will know which one is right from meeting staff, pupils and getting a 'feel' for the place.

Lancing College's next open morning is 6 June.

Wishing you all the best in finding the right school for your son, Sarah

Unfortunately, I don't feel open days truthfully reflect the inner workings of a school. The sales pitch and jazz hands can be hard to see through. I like talking to various parents of kids attending.
