This week is the week primary school places are given out, so if you're on a 4+ waiting list it is the perfect time to remind the school that you are still interest in a place at their wonderful school!
Then, should they have someone withdraw on Thursday because they got their state school of choice, your name will be fresh in the Admission team's mind! 😎

I guess it depends on the school immensely.
I doubt schools like Glendower and Bute will see movements due to public school places?

@deanstreet You never know! At my school, we would typically have one leave after school placements went out and then another 2-3 in the summer (on average). There are lots of reasons why parents withdraw their place (finances, relationships, relocating with work, offer from another school etc). It can't hurt though can it! 👌
