Hi, does anyone here have their children in Sutton High Prep? If so, could you share pros and cons please? How happy are you in general? How inclusive is the school? Are academic outcomes bettet compared to a state school? Do they support children with developing friendships (apart from the initial 2 weeks)? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. We are thinking of joining the school in year 5 vs waiting until year 7.

I’ve heard great things about the prep school and know a few that joined in year 5. As it’s a through school, it’s a very popular pathway and the pros of joining in year 5 vs staying in a primary / prep school are that they get to use all the great facilities of a prep/senior school. There is a pool and netball courts etc. They get to use the senior science labs too. Many girls start in yes 5, so she won’t be the only one and that would make it easier to make friends.
