Commute to KCS and SPS from Southfield

Hi, anyone with experience commuting between Southfield area and KCS/SPS can advise? Driving is quick to both schools but public transport takes 2-3x longer. Is c30mins to KCS (bus + longish walk) and c50min to St Pauls (2x bus) the best/typical routes?

I guess it depends where you are in Southfields but you could get tube to Wimbledon and then walk/bus up the hill to Kings. Struggling to think of a good bus journey to St P. Putney is in gridlock most of the time so would be keen to avoid it. You could get tube to Hammersmith but would take a while.
