SHHS or Habs Girls?

Hello. DD is on WL at SHHS and has an offer from Habs. We are leaning towards SHHS and if the offer does come through, likely to say no to Habs.

Wondering if anyone has been in the same boat and can recommend whether to take Habs irrespective of the result?

Would consider leaving DD in current prep school for 7/11+ assessments if not going to either.

SHHS, but of course it depends on your place on the WL and if it has started moving already. Was there an offer holder event yet?

Definitely SHHS just for the shorter commute. And it is probably better.

We are in a big dilemma between SHHS and Habs (got offers for both at 7+).
We live in Highgate...

I'd say Habs is the better school with nicer facilities, and I think pastoral care at SHHS isn't good, but I wouldnt put a primary aged child through that commute.

I’ve only heard amazing things. And if SHHS is closer it’s a total no brainer? Do you really want your young child stuck in a coach for potentially 2+ hours a day?! Sure the facilities at SHHS aren’t as good as a school that frankly isn’t even in London!

SHHS for sure. Habs is a terrible hike for your DD, and you will spend every weekend driving to St Albans area for the birthday parties…
