Hampstead Hill vs Hereward House vs St Anthony’s

hello, i am currently looking for a Y3 (Sep 2026 entry) space around the Hampstead area for DS, and was wondering if anyone can share their thoughts on these three prep schools please?
We were impressed by St Anthony’s Headmaster but was a bit concerned about their recent change of ownership (cost-cutting? are teachers overworked etc).
Hampstead Hill just opened their prep department in 2024 I believe so I would be curious about how that’s been going.

it’s PE owned so we discounted it quite early as we prefer private ownership or charity status.

We are very happy with this St Anthony’s prep school in Hampstead. Principal Richard and the teachers create a warm, supportive environment and clearly care deeply about the children, which makes a meaningful difference.

The school does a great job balancing academics with other activities like sports and creative subjects. Class sizes seem reasonable, and all the children receive a decent amount of attention.
