Brighton College - Teacher v parent hit and run

[PithyRosePombear]

I understand a teacher at Brighton College is being prosecuted for attemted hit and run of a parent. Does anyone know if they are still working at the school?

Can I ask where you heard this and can you provide a link?

The hit and run was a couple of years ago but it was quite well known about at the time - police notices for witness's on social media etc.
The teacher was identified about a year ago and taken to court. I don't have a link to hand but I'm not sure about posting a link that could identify someone.
Do they still work at the school?

I’ve googled this but can’t find anything linking a staff member to an attempted hit & run.

Attempted hit and run, or hit and run?

Were they prosecuted or sued?
How bizarre!

I heard that this teacher had made it to Mumnet!
They were recently in hot water for inappropriately whatsapping students. Don't have an update on the hit and run though.

Don’t know which was worse 😮

Ah well there go. Presumably just a freedom of information request away from an Argus headline!

Ah well - there you go. Presumably a freedom of information request away from a headline in The Argus!

Have you a child at the school @PithyRosePombear ?

Not currently, but planning to move down to Brighton and apply for the College in the next few years. You?
