We have places for our daughter to start Reception in both St Christopher's and Sarum Hall. Which one is better? Advice/views from current parents most welcome.

I'm a local parent although don't have dcs there. St Chris is seen as more academic and sought after.

I think St Christopher may be been more sought out in the past, Which one is nearer? I think St Christopher is more selective.

Parent with 2 DDs currently at St Cs. We have found the school to be excellent (nurturing yet ambitious; strong pastoral; good balance of academic, sports, music, creativity etc). We’d choose it again in a blink. Of course everyone’s experience is different - but we have no regrets. Feel free to DM.

Whilst we didn’t accept the offer as we had planned to move out of the area, we absolutely loved St C when we visited - it had a warm nurturing atmosphere whilst being academic. I still remember how a senior teacher spoke to me after my DDs 4+ assessment with such enthusiasm and passion - you can tell they really loved the school. We would have chosen it in a heartbeat (also they have a sibling policy if that matters)

I have posted a query on the primary school group, which am going to bump.

@DD20DS22 which school have you ended up choosing

@Hopingforthebest1 have you seen enough of the new Head to be able to compare to the previous one?

TIA
