Private Schools in Worcestershire

Hi All,

We are looking to move to Worcestershire next year and are looking at putting our LO into private school from aged 2.

We are looking for recommendations of schools and also places to live, ideally village location.

We need to be within about 30-40 minutes of both Worcester and Birmingham with a train station within about 15 minutes ideally.

Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks 🙂

Bromsgrove school is about half way between the 2. Don't know if it takes from 2 years though

It’s depends what you want. RGS and Kings in Worcester. They both have at least 2 prep schools, one in the city of Worcester and one on the outskirts in rural settings. It depends what you want. RGS the grange have great sports facilities. Bromsgrove also has prep from 2. You also need to consider the senior school, if you want a through school. RGS and Kings are day schools, whereas Bromsgrove is a boarding school so kids would go on Saturday eventually.

Malvern also has lovely Prep schools, such as the Elms and the Downs, but are on the pricier end and are boarding schools. Malvern College and St James (girls, but going co Ed) for senior in Malvern. Malvern probably the wrong side of Worcester for access to Birmingham, although it does have a train station.
