Cumnor House sussex vs Copthorne prep

I am hoping someone has experience of the schools mentioned. I am about to enroll my toddler to nursery and I am really torn between these two schools. Copthorne is closer to us and has more availability but I have a silly feeling something it not being quite right. On the other end Cumnor doesn’t fit all the practical boxes but I just had a good feeling about it and I am wondering if it’s worth following that voice within although practically would be a struggle.
it would be good to hear both good and bad experiences (specially bad!) for both schools.

No direct experience of either but Copthorne last year became part of the Caterham School group (as did Hawthorns this year). Not sure if that means an automatic entry for senior school as Caterham prep have.

I believe it does and presumably access to resources at Caterham. Copthorne also serves several other secondaries and Kent grammars so there may be more direction towards C than in past.

Thank you, both! We have now decided to withdraw our registration to Cumnor as we didn’t feel it was the right environment for our family. We will most likely go ahead with Copthorne
