Child has mild SEN (social/emotional needs) very sporty, academics ok (but dislikes pressure or anything too academic)

needs to be outside playing sport, doing music, being creative... not an academic type, but very bright.. Loves to learn at his own pace... Picks up things very fast..

It needs to be nurturing and supportive of mild sen.. Does DC sound like the place??

Yes. Have heard that SEN is good. Lots of lovely grounds. A lot of SEN in the school so they know what they are doing. Head is very good and a straight talker. Runs a tight ship.

@Pippatpip great, thanks - have heard the head has recently changed. Not sure that will make a big difference

It does. The Bradshaw is a force to be reckoned with. Very experienced and innovative but also quite traditional in children having fun but with manners.
