MAPLE WALK PRIMARY SCHOOL North London NW10 - Diverse? Honest? Any Info?

Hello, I'm moving back to London and looking for a private school for my three DCs. I need somewhere nice, with kind teachers, diverse students and staff and good teaching standards. We're moving to North London and I've seen this school pop up. It looks nice on screen, but something about it seems 'off'. I can get lots of info about other primary preps but not much on this one. What's the head like? Are they trustworthy or fake? The teachers? The environment? I need a school where my kids can blend in and feel accepted, so diversity means a lot. The school is in a diverse area, but I'm not sure if that translates to being welcoming. I've been warned that some schools have nice pics and then they quietly sideline/ignore your kids or your kids mysteriously never get chosen for anything or never appear in the school news etc. I have no problem at all if some schools prefer to have a non-diverse cohort - parents need to feel happy about where they're sending their kids and should have a choice. I just don't want my kids to end up in a school like that. If there are any parents whose kids attend the school or knows of it, please let me know!

If u were attracted by the school's cheaper fees, remember that things are always cheaper for a reason. We had a nasty experience at a similar prep and withdrew with immediate effect as the nothing was done about serious behaviour issues involving punching in the Upper school. The school also then decided to take in kids with SEN issues but did not once consider hiring a SENCO. It became all about keeping the school afloat rather than providing an education. In my opinion, the school failed every child. And all this was before VAT even took effect so u can imagine what it must be like going forward. Also worth viewing Gov data on how many children are enrolled in this school vs actual places available. Small preps that are under subscribed despite supposedly cheaper fees / being not for profit etc are something to carefully consider. Good luck.
