Thought I’d try out this new board.
Current parents- are you happy? What should I bear in mind for these newly co-Ed schools? Does it feel fully inclusive? Is girls sport fully up and running equally to the offering for boys? Is the classroom atmosphere calm and productive? I am visiting both of course!

My daughter has just gone into year 8 at Shiplake and I cannot praise the school enough. She had a brilliant first year last year, learning the violin (for free!), performing in the whole school and lower school plays (I had no idea she liked drama before), playing a good number of sports fixtures in hockey, netball, cricket (and loved the netball tour to France that included a trip to Disneyland even though she hadn't played netball before) as well as a football match and tennis match. She's made amazing friends and loves all her lessons and teachers. It was so nice to see her looking forward to going back to school after the summer and she's bounced out of bed each day this term so far. Lots of girls in the year group (think its over 40%).
