Hi guys, wonder whether any of you guys can give me some help with an interview I've got coming up on Monday?
Short back story - gave up classroom teaching three years ago and have been working in eduction for the council with two mat leave breaks. Now desperate to get back into a school and have an interview for an Inclusion Manager post on Monday.
I have been asked to prepare a 15 min circle time exercise for a Y5 class which I know is standard interview practise but having been away from teaching for three years I'm a bit nervous to say the least .
Anyway, does anyone have any ideas for exercises? I don't want to do anything contentious like bullying cos obviously I won't know any of the children, so I thought I would do something like "staying safe in the school holidays".
What do you think?
Any help gratefully received (esp at this time in the summer term ).
Oh, and any major initiatives I should be aware of in SEN? I'm going to buy the Times Ed tomorrow but if anyone knows of anything I will google.
To add to the stress I'm moving house on Friday and with two DC (toddler + baby), I have limited time to prepare!!
TIA .
