Does anyone know what the equivalent ORT level is to New Way red level?

Many thanks.

Can you give me some titles from New Way red and I will look them up for you.

JosieL67 · 20/06/2010 21:26

Sure. Tiger's Birthday and Cat and Dove is the one my son has right now.

Looked up some of the New Way Red and it looks like they are ORT 3 or 4 equivalent.

Do you know it's book band colour?

ireallyreallytrulyhatefootball · 20/06/2010 21:29

That wasn't the two you mentioned though which aren't on the list I had.

Don't know the book band colour, only that it's red New Way. Other titles he has had recently are Rats, Treasure, Adam's Bike, Is that Your Hat?...

Hiya, red book band is ORT stage 2. My dd recently had a green new way and is was green book band. It's all very confusing!

digusted · 20/06/2010 22:24

Hi

I think the red platform and parallel books are green level so that is about ORT st 5. My ds'school use a mixture of new way and Ginn supplemented with Ruth Miskin Superphonics and the Ginn and superphonics are definitely green band

JosieL67 · 21/06/2010 17:23

Thanks. I think you're right the platform and parallel are about ORT 5, and the easy start red level about ORT 4.
