How do I get them to hold school places?

I am moving back to the UK fom Ireland; and have just received word from an excellent primary school in the UK that they can accommodate my three eldest dc (Reception; Y2 and Y5 ) However they cannot guarantee to be able to hold them for me as I don't yet have a UK address and won't be able to sort one until early/mid July.
Is there anything I can do to guarantee these places before them? Is it worth contacting the LEA ? The school is voluntarily aided if that makes a difference.
I can use my Mothers address but what 'proof ' of adress would I need?

It is up to the LA what proof of address is needed. However, you can't use your mother's address unless the children are living with her.

Unfortunately there is no way you can get them to hold the places for you. If someone else comes along and applies for this school in one of those years they have to give them the place. That is the law, I'm afraid. All you can do is move as quickly as possible. Sorry.
