Hi All,

I have just been to Ds's year five parent teacher meeting, And she has raised some concerns with me over his writing and maths,

In her words " he has it upstairs when you ask him a question he can tell you the answer straight away but getting him to write is a frustrating battle, he tends to go off into his own little world." with the resulting affect that he is falling behind on his work.

She has told me that she will be starting a time program with him but i should try the same at home.

To cut a long ramble short do you know any websites that i can download crosswords and work sheets to do at home with him

I can recommend the 'my child' website (www.mychild.co.uk). Although it does require a subscription for part of it, there's quite a bit on there for free. Also I think the BBC have stuff on their website - maybe search under key stage 2 (?).

Hope this helps, I can certainly relate to the problem.
