Parents Night At School, Help?

So have a Parents Evening type thing coming up at my DD's chosen primary school, it starts at 7pm (specifically no kids allowed) I don't know how long it will be (hr or 2 tops probably?) but I have no idea what to expect so am a bit nervous...has anyone else been to one of these? And I guess I should go formal right?

I'm sure I have nothing to be worried about but you know...

No you don't need to dress formally.

It'll only be a couple of hours. You'll get talks from the PTA begging you to become involved ;), talks from the school cook begging you to sign up for school dinners, a chance to buy / order uniform, maybe told the benefits of the walking bus if your school has one , chance to meet the reception teachers and headteacher. Don't worry it'll be fine
