Hello, I am looking for opinions/feedback on St Elizabeth's School, Richmond. We are practicing Catholics and attend a church in the catchment of the school. I believe that it is quite difficult to get a place in the school though. Is this correct? Would love to hear from people who have experience of the admissions process for the school.

Check out the Richmond LA website, it will tell you the admission requirements. For most church schools (in oversubscribed areas) you have to attend the church regularly and there is an extra bit of the admissions form that has to be signed by the priest. Regularly church attendees are given priority over distance.

How old is your DC?

I don't think it's the catchment that is the problem with St Elizabeth's but the regular church attendance is rigorous. You have to go to church every week: they check (even when DC at school) and letter from priest. I think it is harder to get into the pre-school.
