DD3 has been low level bullied for 3 years, for the first two years the bullying was dealt with efficiently but this year the teacher seems unable to stop it, it appears to be only during playtime/dinner break so in the teachers words "we keep an eye out but can't stop it as we can't watch them all the time". The child in question denies all knowledge so again the teacher "can't do anything about it". We have a meeting with the headteacher arranged for next week to try and sort it out once and for all and I've asked for a copy of the schools Anti Bullying Policy. What should the school be doing next? I know they have a duty of care. Poor DD has lost so much confidence and as a result will not join in any after school activities and even said to me last night that she just wants to get up on a school morning in a happy mood and look forward to her day instead of getting up with a feeling of dread.
