Anyone know anything about the primaries in Hastings?

DH and I are beginning to consider moving along the coast to Hastings, but I think it's far too difficult to tell what a school is like from it's past grades and Ofsted ratings.
Just thought someone might have a DC at one of the schools there, so thought I'd ask!
The ex is scaring the kids by saying that all the schools are atrocious and that if we try to do this he's going to try to get full custody, so just doing as much research as I can. Obviously, as the prospect of actually moving there increases, we'll go and visit them ourselves - but does anyone know anything about them?

My friends kids go to Dudley infants and love it. It only got a satisfactory ofsted but she as an ex teacher says it's so much better than that.

Hi I'm from Hastings, which area are you thinking of moving to? There are lots of fantastic state schools round here! If you are Catholic, Sacred Heart and St Marys Star of the Sea are fantastic. My friends daughter went to Dudley Infants and is now at All Saints junior school and is very pleased with her progress.
Silverdale school is very highly thought of as is Blacklands school.
let me know where in Hastings/St. Leonards you might end up!
Take care

Dudley Infants is highly thought of.

Thanks ladies - it's still a long way off though! But once we get an idea of whereabouts I'll let you know!
