Just a note to anyone relying on their clicking of "accept" on the online system for a primary school place... Don't!
I accepted our place this way and it clearly hasn't registered on the system.
I also sent the form back but that seems to have gone awol too...So as of a week ago, I hadn't accepted the place officially, a good month after it should have been accepted. Urk.
Fortunately, I have a DD already at the school, and her teacher caught me the other day to ask why I hadn't accepted DS's place. Cue lots of panic, a rush to the office, to fortunately be told that it was fine and all they needed was a signed letter from me asap, phew. However it turns out that there are 5 others on the offered list in the same position!
So - if you accepted online and haven't heard anything else from your allocated school yet, it might be worth giving them a ring!
