OMG! we didnt send in our school acceptance by 30th April

We are in the process of moving and just found the form. Originally we had tried to accept over the internet but it wouldnt work. Now found the written form 1 day too late.

DH dashing round there now but think it might be gated road.

We are so so so very STUPID.

DD in the school and DS in the nursery. What can we do???

Don't panic. The admission code says that the admission authority must remind the parent of the need to respond within a further seven days and point out that the place may be withdrawn if they do not, if they failed to reurn the form within the alloted time.

Just get the form in on Tuesday. If they for some reason take a hard line on this, just quote paragraph 1.50 of the school admission code at then and tell them to go and read it properly!

Thank you so much - you have really made me feel better. We have spent the day rushing over to the Children's Service to drop it off by hand. Also called the Chair of Goveners and Headmistress!! None of them seem too worried so seems the crisis is averted.
