Birthday is 25th November, will he start Jan or September following his birthday? Same for nursery funding?

TIA

Nursery funding begins the term after his third birthday so it should be January. When he starts school depends on your area - if the schools do a January intake then it will be the Jan after he turns four, if not it will be the following September so he will be coming up to five.

the nursary funding starts the term after (jan) his 3rd birthday.

reception will be the september before his 5th birtday.

great thanks, so he'll be one of the youngest if the school does a jan intake? i don't mind, he's a sibling and seems to be more advanced than his brother at his age.

Ignore me - of course he won't be a january intake! Sorry. He will go in September and will always be one of the oldest. Jan intake is for summer babies.

ok no problem thanks for clarifying, but nursery funding will be from jan after his 3rd birthday?

As long as things stay the way they are now (who can tell what will happen after Thursday) he will get nursery funding from the January after his 3rd birthday.
