Kumon English

Hi,
Has anyone tried Kumon English? How good/bad is it? Any reviews appreciated.

I did this with my DS and he found it so boring that I was forcing him to do it and we stopped after a few months. I think the Kumon maths is meant to be OK as doing sums is probably more interesting than just copying words out.

I ended up getting a tutor for English for my DS instead which was a lot better. Although the tutor was more expensive, she only gives lessons in term time whereas Kumon is all year round so is probably ends up costing much the same.

I tried Maths, and quit as it was too boring and for having to force too much.. but read some testimonials that English was good, so thats why I asked.
