foundation stage scores and key stage 1

hello

I saw on another thread that 1c is the average level expected at the beginning of year 1. My DD did well I was told in the foundation stage scores at the end of reception, getting 8s in everything.
At parents evening I asked where they expected her to be at the end of year 1, and they said they'd tell me at the end of the year, although at the moment she'd have to work very hard to get to her target. But using my upsidedown reading skills I saw her end of year target is 1c in everything in her record book.

Does this sound right? I can't find anything anywhere on the education website which says much about foundation stage scores.

Can anyone help? TIA

There is no correlation between EYFS profile scores and NC levels used in KS1/2 I'm afraid although some schools and LAs do attempt to use them to predict where a child will be in Y1/2. Having said that I would expect a child scoring 8s in everything to be above 1c in some areas by the end of the year.

Could you have misread it?
1a is a typical target for the end of Year 1.
